The summer so far has been warm, wet and humid at times. However, this has, if anything, helped the bloom of colour and plant no-end. Our Rhododendrons are giving a great display, as usual, and the other shrubs are flowering beautifully.
The ‘Tree Trail’ is now at its height of summer glory, with the full canopies providing shelter from the sun and offering food & accommodation to birds and insects in abundance. Well, after a massive data-loss – including the backups of the backups – (!) – our old guru has come out of retirement to sort the mess and restore order. This is going to take while, so please bear with us as we rebuild our site more or less from scratch.
However, on the good news front, our Shepherd’s Hut is now open for business, for those who would like to stay in our beautiful gardens. This new accommodation is already proving popular, contact us for booking details and prices.
The gardens look beautiful, and the warm weather has brought out the colour and feeling of the grounds perfectly. We’ve already had a few weddings here in the gardens too! Glenwhan Gardens make the perfect backdrop to any wedding, so contact us for details and availability!
