Tearoom & Plant Nursery
Our Tearoom staff look forward to receiving our visitors. They serve hot and cold drinks, delightful snacks and cake – such as our coconut and lime sponge cake (gluten free), or fresh, made-to-order sandwiches with a range of fillings. There’s bound to be something to catch your taste-buds!
For those looking for something a little more substantial, we serve daily seasonal specials, freshly made with local produce were possible, with produce from our vegetable garden alongside our regular menu of hot food and healthy salads. Dine inside or outside on our terrace, when the weather permits. Seating 50 persons and on fine days, outside on the Terrace
Glenwhan Tearoom has been awarded ‘Taste Our Best‘ from Visit Scotland. Something we are, naturally, very proud to have received.
Tessa is a graduate of the Cordon Bleu School of Cookery, and maintains a keen interest in the menu and quality of the ingredients.
Our Potager is where we grow many of the vegetables and herbs used in our Tearoom. Designed by Richard Knott, the Potager is developing nicely and is already a great attraction with our visitors.
Visit our plant nursery where we have an extensive stock for you to browse. New for visitors, we can propagate particular plants and shrubs seen in the Gardens. There are a range of plant propagation courses and events throughout the season.
